*JOLT..shake...shake* for about 5 seconds.
The napping dog at my feet and curled up cat on my side both woke up and looked at me. I was looking at my walls moving and my laptop screen shaking. I haven't felt an earthquake that hard in a very long time. It's not a good feeling. I called Bubba immediately and he said he felt it at work too. According to the news it's about a 4.2 magnitude and the epicenter is about 20 miles away from my house. Scary but I'll take an earthquake any day over the tornado that hit a school in Alabama today.
