goddammit! i'm so sick of being sick! this cold from hell has kicked my ass all week. i haven't left the house since i got home on sunday. i've been so miserable stuck at home!!! it's not that i can't leave. i don't have the energy to change out of my pj's and look presentable when i leave the house! one can only take so much though. all i remember doing this week is eat soup, drink honey lemon tea, consume nyquil every night, suck on cough drops (went through 1.5 bags), and gargle with warm salty water to soothe my throat. i'm about to carve out my throat and throw it in the garbage. i need a new throat people. this one is jacked.
i dread nighttime. this is when my coughing is at it's worst. i haven't slept through one night in the past 6 days without waking up coughing every 2 to 3 hours. it's so bad i want to sob and call out for my mommy to make me feel better. dude. you know you'd do it if your mom was close by too. sometimes all it takes is mom to hold you and give a back rub to make you feel better. seriously. my mommy will rub you down with vicks vapo rub and wrap you up in a bundle. those were the days.
my tea is done...*cough*
