It's not the one I picked out for him but I sure could use some desserts. This has been one hell of a work week. Before I headed out to the sushi restaurant where Bubba was having his birthday get together with friends, I went to an asian bakery and picked up some desserts with the intention of helping Bubba eat them after dinner.
Well, I was too smashed to have any dessert. Bubba and his friends kept topping my sake cup. It was good smooth sake too. I lost count of how much I was drinking. How I got through work yesterday was a miracle. It was so busy and all I wanted to do was close my eyes and hide under my desk. I kept denying I had a hangover but it was definitely a hangover.
