Going to the races was a first. I never knew where it was. I had no clue it was right off the bay in Albany/Berkeley. Being the novices that we were and that it was Dollar Day Sunday, we arrived 2 hours before the first race started. By the time the race started, the sun was no longer over our heads keeping us warm. BRRRRRR!!!!
The whole thing was pretty interesting. The people watching kept us entertained. The range of people were all over the place. I didn't do any betting and I should've. Of the 5 races we watched, I guessed 3 winners. I could've won $10. Next time I'll go when the weather is warm.
